The Origin of Earth has Spread Happiness
The entire universe is beautiful and hidden in
mysterious secrets; it is a gift from God. And among all those gifts, the most
beautiful secret is our Earth, which holds countless wonders on and beneath its
surface.
Scientists say that the flame of life burns only on Earth. Later, some
scientists searched for it on other satellites, but that flame was
extinguished.
Anyway, the search is still ongoing to find an alternative to our Earth. After
all, it is human nature never to be satisfied — always seeking something new.
And perhaps that isn’t entirely wrong, because if we become content, how will
the hidden secrets be uncovered?
But yes, the question will always remain: what
should human nature seek, and what should it not?
There is a danger that in the pursuit of something new and better, we might
lose what we already have.
We were talking about Earth — the very
land that has sheltered all of humanity and countless living and non-living
things on its back.
It bears the weight of towering mountains without complaint. This reminds us
that today, we humans struggle to carry any burden — whether it's helping
someone financially or caring for a sick person.
Aged parents bury their small needs
quietly, fearing that if a need arises, their grown children might crush them
under the weight of heavy words.
And yet, nature created us so we could ease each other’s burdens.
Still, the Earth bears its load with
patience and also carries reservoirs of water in its arms, and even stores
water within its body — which we access through wells and springs.
This water quenches the thirst of every living being on Earth.
And here we are — taking that water away from the lips of the thirsty for the
sake of wealth.
The Earth gives even those tiny
seeds a chance to flourish and grow, seeds whose worth is nothing compared to
the Earth itself. Yet, the Earth holds no pride in this; like a mother, it
gives shelter to those innocent seeds, and like a father, it holds their
finger, supporting them as they grow. But we are a different story altogether.
A few dollars come our way, and our demeanour changes completely. Pride in our
words, stiffness in our walk, and a stinging sharpness in our tone pierce the
hearts of countless people. Then, money intoxicates us to the point where we
begin to look down on the poor.
When it comes to the Earth, it
welcomes every season with joy. Although with the arrival of summer, its
beauty—what we call greenery—diminishes, colorful flowers and plants dry up,
and cracks appear in the Earth due to the temperature, it doesn't complain
about the summer season at all. It quietly, happily, and patiently endures all
sorrows and pains. The rains come and wash away its soil, and floods and storms
arrive, marring its beauty. Yet, despite all this, it acts with patience and
courage. And it's this very patience and courage that once again adorns it,
making the eyes of onlookers dazzle.
In contrast, humans, who live upon
it, get flustered by a little pain and sorrow, and start complaining to God
about their troubles. This is the lesson we need to learn from the Earth: no
matter what its circumstances, it tries to keep those living on it happy in
every way. As the best creatures on Earth, our being should also be beneficial
to others, and we should not become a cause of their suffering. Perhaps, this
is humanity's greatest demand today.
