Step 1: Memorize the Squares from 1 to 9


Before learning this trick, you should memorize the squares of the numbers from 1 to 9. They are the foundation of this method.

Example: Find the Square Root of 8836


Let's find the square root of 8836 step by step.


Step 1: Look at the Last Digit


The last digit of 8836 is 6.


We know that:


4² = 16

6² = 36


Both squares end with the digit 6, so the last digit of the answer must be either 4 or 6. Keep both possibilities in mind.


Step 2: Ignore the Last Two Digits


Now ignore the last two digits (36) and look at the remaining number, which is 88.


Find the largest perfect square that is less than or equal to 88.


The answer is 81, and we know:


81 = 9²


This tells us that the first digit of the square root is 9, because the next perfect square, 100 = 10², is greater than 88.


Step 3: Choose the Correct Last Digit


Now we need to decide whether the last digit is 4 or 6.


Add each possibility to 81:


81 + 4 = 85

81 + 6 = 87


Since 87 is closer to 88 without exceeding it, we choose 6 as the last digit.

اب 88 سے چھوٹا یا اس کے برابر سب سے بڑا Perfect Square تلاش کریں۔


یہ 81 ہے، اور ہم جانتے ہیں کہ:


81 = 9²
